Whakamāhuki | Overview

Grow confident, culturally grounded reo Māori capability—at work, during work hours.

Te Reo Mataora Level 2 extends foundational knowledge into more confident, connected and independent language use. Learners refine pronunciation, use longer sentence structures, strengthen mihi and pepeha, open and close hui, discuss time and wellbeing through maramataka, and communicate more naturally through kīwaha and connecting language. Tikanga and mātauranga Māori remain central, ensuring increased fluency is accompanied by cultural understanding and appropriate application.
